Thelander Family Offers Reward for Information

News report on the August 28, 2007 propane explosion — caused by copper thieves — at a rural Monona County rental property owned by Earl and Hope Thelander of Onawa, Iowa, in which Earl sustained second- and third-degree burns over eighty percent of his body and died four days later in an Omaha burn unit.
The family is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for his death.
